About

Robert B. Routt is a memoir author whose work is rooted in survival, resilience, and the belief that even the darkest chapters of life can be rewritten. Based in Clearwater, Florida, Robert served in the U.S. Navy Seabees before building a successful career in the insurance industry.

In 2011, his life took a devastating turn after a series of prescription errors and pill mill practices led to a medical collapse that left him in a coma for more than three weeks. After waking partially paralyzed, he began the long fight to walk again, reclaim his independence, and rebuild every part of his life.

His memoir shares this journey in vivid detail — the mistakes that nearly cost him everything, the family and friends who refused to give up on him, and the strength it took to heal physically, mentally, and spiritually. Through his writing, Robert hopes to inspire others facing trauma, addiction, medical negligence, and life-changing setbacks.
